Week 1
In the first week, we form our committee, including the president and vice president, treasurer and four teams, namely design team, media team, marketing team and logistic team. After we selected the president, we began to allocate the number of people needed by the four groups, and then everyone can choose the team they want to join first. I chose media team because I think I can participate more in the media part to reserve my experience in this field.

Photo Shoot Style
1st Draft Individual Post
I, Cheryl Kim, took charge of designing the individual posts. Each team member created their own design, inspired by CDs and using jewel cases as the central concept. We introduced slight variations in layout to highlight the unique qualities of each person, symbolizing that everyone has their own album.
Week 5
1st Test Shoot
Purpose: To try the Background Screen Colour, Lighting and Poses.
Fig. 1st test shoot
We mainly try the shooting effect and lighting effect of different
backgrounds. We tried three kinds of background, which are green screen,
white screen and white wall. Because the green screen is green colour, so when the light shines, it will reflect green
light on the model, which will be more difficult in the later edit
process, so we gave up the green screen. Finally, I think the white screen is the most suitable, and it is also convenient for us to dig the
picture.
In terms of lighting, we tried sunset lights, flash lights and lights
that kept on. It is difficult to adjust the angle and direction of the
sunset light, because it needs dim light to show clear colors, but the
dim light does not meet our final photo effect, so after several
attempts, we gave up the sunset light shooting. The flash is bright
enough, so we finally chose the flash. Then the flash is placed in a way
that there are flashes at 45 degrees in front of the model, so that the
light will be fuller and more uniform on the face.
Week 6
Task:
- Prepare for debut post
- Merchandise post
- Refine individual post design
2nd Test Shoot
Purpose: Confirm the lighting and background colour, mark the lighting position on floor.
3rd Version Individual Post

Because we felt that there was still room for improvement in the first two editions, we continued to make the third edition, and we did some other typesetting in the third edition to see if there were more possibilities.

Week 7
Shooting Week!!
We took a total of four days to shoot, and then in order to let everyone take their own satisfactory photos, we let everyone have half an hour to shoot, and an average person can take about 100 photos, so that they can choose photos.
Photos will be mainly used in three places, namely individual post,
booklet and presentation baord.
Day 1-4

These shooting days are filled with memories—everyone was exhausted, yet we were all so happy. It was truly a rare and special experience. The team worked together seamlessly, and some of our classmates, noticing our hard work, even bought drinks for us. It was such a touching gesture that really moved us all.
Day 1-4

The studio's air conditioning broke down, so we had to endure four
days of shooting in a hot and stuffy environment. Even though the
heat made it challenging to stay in good spirits, the final results
were still impressive, making all our sweat and effort worthwhile.

4th Version Individual Post

Fig. Final individual post
This is the final confirmation version of our individual. Finally, the whole horrible individual post has been made into the final confirmed version. We often collapses many times, because we have been facing this individual post for so long, so we are a little tired of aesthetics.
Editing Individual Post
Week 11
Task:
- Group Photo layout
I designed several committee posts, each with a different layout style using the elements from our project. It was important to create a variety of styles while keeping everything consistent with our overall theme. In the end, we chose the first design.
Week 12
Task:
Announce Story for New logo
Fig. New logo animation
Since we decided to change our logo after the initial release, I created a short story showcasing the transition from the old logo to the new one. This way, we could share the update with everyone in a simple and visually engaging manner.
Week 13
- Launching Video Storyboard
- Shoot launching video part 1

Fig. Launching video storyboard version 2
When I was brainstorming ideas for the launching video, I wanted it
was more than just a simple film. I aimed to add an element of fun
and engagement, so I decided to combine video with on the spot
interaction. This led to a creative fusion where the video narrative
and the live event seamlessly intertwined.
By incorporating aspects of both the video and the live showcase, we
crafted a story that was not only visually captivating but also
interactive and immersive. The result was a dynamic and memorable
experience that enhanced the overall impact of our showcase. This
approach allowed us to bring our story to life in a way that engaged
our audience on multiple levels and made the event even more
exciting.

Fig. Showcase set up
Fig. My lovely friends~
After all the preparation and hard work, the day of the showcase
finally arrived. We came together to set up the venue and arrange
the booths, ensuring everything was in place for a successful
event. Each team member played a crucial role in bringing the
showcase to life, and our collective effort made the setup process
both efficient and enjoyable.
As we worked side by side, it was evident that our preparation
had paid off. We meticulously arranged every detail, from the
layout of the booths to the final touches on the displays. The
energy and enthusiasm among the team were palpable, and it was a
proud moment to see our hard work coming together.
The day of the showcase was a culmination of our dedication and
collaboration, and it felt incredibly rewarding to see everything
we had planned come to fruition. The event was a testament to our
commitment and teamwork, making it a memorable experience for all
involved.
Reflection
The conclusion of my final year project exhibition marks the
end of my university journey. As I reflect on this significant
milestone, I’m filled with both happiness and a sense of
nostalgia. There were many moments throughout this process where
I felt like everything was falling apart, yet I found the
strength to keep going. It was the support of my like-minded
friends that made all the difference—we faced countless
challenges together and came out stronger on the other
side.
I’m incredibly grateful to our chairperson, Britney, whose
sense of responsibility ensured that everything was done to
perfection. Her leadership was truly inspiring, and she played a
pivotal role in the success of our exhibition.
I also want to extend my heartfelt thanks to the members of the
media team. Their cooperation and dedication made every task
smoother, and the camaraderie we shared made the experience even
more enjoyable. We were not only able to work effectively as a
team but also found joy in spending time together, balancing our
hard work with moments of fun and laughter.
This journey has been an unforgettable chapter of my life,
filled with growth, challenges, and invaluable friendships. As I
step into the next phase, I carry with me the memories and
lessons learned, grateful for the experiences that have shaped
me during my time at university.
