Why are there three versions of storyboard?
I think a good educational film, the plot and connection of the story is very important.Because in order for the audience to remember the content, a piece of information that can be linked together is easier to remember than the way of memorizing one by one, just like what I learned in "the millers law-chunking" in this course. Therefore, we have made great efforts in this story structure, trying to create some interesting and funny scenes to deepen the audience's memory. After constantly revising and perfecting the story, it was the third edition when the final decision was made.

We first illustarted several important characters in the film. Each of us is responsible for one or two characters, and then draw our characters according to our art direction style. At the beginning of the first edition, everyone's characters will have very strong "personal characteristics". However, after several revisions and optimizations, the final painting style is much more unified than the original one.

Reasons we choose the character- Snow White
The protagonist of our whole story is Snow White. The reason why we choose this role as the protagonist of our film is
not only because we need a designated character, but also because Snow White is a character in fairy tales. Through this well-known character image, it is easier for people to resonate and be interesting. Although Snow White lives in a wonderful fairy tale, the perfect Snow White must alsogo through physiological period and adolescence.
Teenagers will feel shy or even ashamed because of their changes in adolescence and may be ridiculed by people around them. They will feel at a loss and don't know how to face the changes in adolescence and body. This time, we can use this film to show them a "different" Snow White, an adolescent Snow White, with a vivid and interesting image, and make them feel that many people are experiencing growth and transformation with them on this road of growth.
What we done to achieve the coherence of the whole story.
First of all, there is a soulprotagonist Snow White running through the whole story(why this character is chosen to be explained later), and of course, other characters in Snow White's story such as prince, witch and dwarfs are also used, and the whole story instantly has a soul.

Then, we take every change of our body as sites, and compare it to a treasure hunt map, which means exploring our own body is just as interesting as looking for treasure.

The overall style of painting is unified, and the content is interesting and complicated.
Week 7
High degree of completion, but there are still some details to adjust. Good teamwork.
Reflection
This is the longest animation I have ever done. Although we was just simply do some basic animation in ae, I like our story and funny elements very much, which makes this originally boring educational film bright and distinctive. Here, I feel that I have learned teamwork, and find out each person's own advantages. Although none of the seven of us are very powerful and proficient in animation, at first I was afraid that I would screw up this assignment, which was quite stressful. I try to find out what the team members are good at from some animations and paintings they have done in the past, and then take on their own tasks and complete this animation with our joint efforts.
I think the part that I can do better next time may be to make the connection between each scene smoother, and to make it uniform in style and lines.
