INSTRUCTION
EXERCISES
Week 1 - Sketches Of Vormator Character
Week 1 - Sketches Of Vormator Character
Our assignment of the first week is sketching out our own character.
Firstly, I draw out on a paper and try to combine and rotate two or more
shapes given to create new shape. Although some of the shape are literally
odd or unusual but i am gradeful to do the step because it make me start
thinking about more possibility of the shape combination and my vormator
character.
After the initial sketch in paper, I went to Adobe Illustrator(AI) to try
out did it can really work in the apps or not.Firstly, I try to sketch out
the shapes following the material given by Miss Anis to make sure all the
sizes & curves of the shapes were definitely accurate. After that,
I try to practising the characters I sketch on paper in this app.

Outcomes of First Operation :
Week 2 - Build up My Character in Adobe Illustrator
After building up those characters(above) in Adobe Illustrator(AI), I realised those characters were lack of their personalities and features. So I decided to design another character which have a topic and rich in image.
My initial idea was to design a character who love plants & flowers. Honestly, when I was a kindergarten child, my first ambition was became a florist because I really appreciate those beautiful and colourful flowers.
The rudiment of this character :
I only build up Molly at the first, but suddenly jump out an idea if the florist was an old woman what does it look like? That is the reason why you guys can see two characters here 👀
Week 3,4 - Design Game Card
Molly is one of the fairy who guards the everlasting flower. So I am going
to create a magical world for her!

FEEDBACK
Specific feedback : The character need to be more bigger because the roses and background are more sticking out. The mouth of the character better not to be white.
REFLECTION
This task are both interesting and challenging for me. To create the final character of Vormator Challenge, I done a lot of attempt on other roles as you can see in my blog above. In constant attempts, many characters have been created without knowing it. Honestly, it was very helpful because I will explore a new combination of the given shape after trying build up every role! Building up the background of game card also very interesting for me, it was feeling like try my best to build her a home.
